Facilities and Resources

The school has well-equipped science laboratories, a computer complex and a technical workshop, separate libraries for junior and senior students and an extensive collection of audio and video resources.

The computer department is equipped with the latest computers and educational accessories. Students from classes VII to XII are given computer education as a part of the curriculum.

The school has a number of playgrounds, big and small, an amphitheater, an outdoor stage and multipurpose hall. Games, art, craft, music, dance, drama, travel and outdoor activities are integral aspects of life at the school.

Specialists drawn from various disciplines interact with students and teachers and impart their skills and love for that discipline. In order to create a healthy attitude towards life and nature, students are encouraged, right from an early age, to care for plants, to do manual work, and to keep their surroundings clean and beautiful.

Boys, girls and small children are housed in separate hostels that are spacious and comfortable. In each hostel about 15 to 20 students are looked after by house parent. Attempt is made to create a feeling of home. The school has its own dining arrangement under the supervision of a Dining Hall Manager and endeavors to provide a well-balanced, wholesome vegetarian diet, which also includes dairy products.

Health of the children being an important concern, the school ensures the presence of a doctor who is in in charge of a small, well furnished twenty-bed hospital on the campus.
